Constructed in finely figured walnut, the piece displays rich, warm tones and attractive grain throughout. The serpentine-fronted base is fitted with a central drawer, while the superstructure above features an arrangement of small jewel drawers, offering both charm and practical storage. The original adjustable mirror is set within a shaped frame and supported by beautifully carved scroll uprights, giving the piece a distinctive and decorative silhouette typical of the period. Raised on turned and carved supports, united by a shaped platform base and fitted with original castors, the table is both sturdy and easy to position. The piece is in good antique condition, with a few light marks consistent with age and use, adding to its authenticity and character.
