The chair has very ornate quality hand carved show frame arms this is very rare seldom do carved oak chairs of this style come onto the market as most were mahogany or walnut, the upholstery is in good condition with no holes, just a couple of light marks but nothing unsightly, it stands on fine carved cabriole legs retaining its original casters.
