Victorian Burr Walnut Compactum Breakfront Triple Wardrobe
A Superb Victorian Burr walnut triple wardrobe circa 1860. The wardrobe has fantastic figuring and colour of the finest quality. The wonderful rounded corner cornice has very fine carved detailing that is only seen on the best Antique furniture. The wardrobe has recently been relined in a traditional cotton blue striped fabric. The two end hanging sections are fitted with a brass hanging rail and hooks each with single mahogany fronted ash lined drawer. The centre section has three slide out mahogany fronted ash lined trays, above this there is a brass hanging rail and hooks proving a very good amount of hanging storage. Each end door has a working lock and key. The central retains its original plate mirror and also has a working lock and key. It also has later magnetic door catches. The wardrobe breaks down into three main sections plus the cornice and plinth base.
Very good original condition through out.
