For more than ninety years Titchmarsh & Goodwin Furniture makers have created beautiful handmade English Oak, Walnut, Mahogany & Yew and other furniture for a worldwide market. They are proud of their multi-skilled craftsmen, whose work is of the highest quality. They are renowned for their hand-polishing, which is finished to exhibition standards. Titchmarsh & Goodwin prefer to use our native oak Quercus Robur which is prized for its strong figuration and varied colours which are caused by minerals present in the heavy East Anglian soils. This refectory table is wonderful and the oak is really great, fantastic grain and figuration and finished to complement the wood wonderfully. The table top is rectangular and the oak looks fantastic ,with wonderful shaped trestle ends and tapered foot plinth. The table is in great condition showing some very light marks associated with use there are no cracks loose joints or unsightly mark at all. Overall a very good clean used oak table of the finest quality at a fraction of the original price.
