Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Display Cabinet, Early 20th Century An elegant Edwardian display cabinet, dating to the early 20th century, constructed in mahogany and inlaid with decorative satinwood banding and oval fan motifs. The cabinet features a shaped top with inlaid central panel, above a full-height glazed door enclosing a shelved interior, ideal for the display of ceramics, glass, or collectibles. The door is fitted with its original brass handle and lock escutcheon and key. The interior retains its shelving and shows a contrasting lined finish. Below the glazed section are two small drawers fitted with turned brass knobs, above an open undertier, all raised on slender square tapering legs. The proportions are light and refined, typical of Edwardian design, combining practicality with decorative restraint. Condition: Good antique condition, with expected surface wear, minor marks, and patina consistent with age and use. The cabinet presents well overall. Dimensions: Width: 61 cm Depth: 30 cm Height: 148 cm Summary: A charming and well-proportioned Edwardian inlaid display cabinet, ideal for use in a living room, dining room, or hallway, offering elegant storage and display in a compact footprint.
