Small 19th Century Giltwood & Marble Console Table A charming small 19th century giltwood console table, designed in the Rococo Revival taste. The shaped white marble top sits above a decorative giltwood base, with scrolling foliate carving and a finely detailed central support terminating in a carved foot. Its particularly neat proportions make it ideal for a hallway, entrance hall, alcove or smaller room where a full-size console would be too large. The gilt finish has been repainted/refreshed at some point in its life, and there are minor marks and imperfections consistent with age and use.
