On offer for sale is this very good quality Georgian oak and mahogany Grandfather clock by Thomas Dicker of Silchester. He was a clock maker making clocks in Silchester Berkshire between 1736 to 1756 / after that 1757 he moved to Reading until his death in 1774. The clock is in perfect working order keeping good time with an 8 day movement striking on a central mounted bell on the hour count having been recently cleaned and serviced. It comes complete with weights pendulum and key for the trunk door. The case is also in very good condition free from any major damage and no woodworm.
