Georgian Mahogany Gentleman’s Wardrobe
A handsome George III period mahogany gentleman’s wardrobe, dating from the early 19th century.
The upper section has a pair of panelled doors with attractive ebony line inlay and corner detailing, opening to reveal a spacious interior fitted with a hanging rail. Below are two short over two long oak lined drawers , retaining turned mahogany knobs, raised on elegant splay feet.
A particularly attractive example with a lovely warm colour and well-figured mahogany throughout. The wardrobe separates into sections for easier transport.
Good antique condition with age-related marks and wear consistent with its age and character.
