On offer for sale is this very good quality original Georgian cuban mahogany bureau bookcase. The bookcase has been fully restored to a very high standard and is very good quality being constructed of solid mahogany with fine oak drawer linings. All the drawers are fully functional and slide nice and smooth as they should the bookcase top has three adjustable shelves with two doors and a working lock and key. The bureau has a fully fitted interior with a secret top drawer and has had a new leather insert fitted, the bureau fall front retains the original lock with a working key, below this there 4 graduating full width drawers. Original early bureau bookcases of this quality very seldom come onto the market. The bureau bookcase comes in two sections for transport.
