George III Mahogany Bureau Bookcase

This is a fine quality Georgian antique mahogany bureau bookcase. The top with a dentil moulded cornice with swan neck pediment with two doors that have wonderful unusual glazed panels enclosing three glass shelves ,the doors retain its original lock and key. Below the bureau has a fully fitted interior with document drawers and cubby holes and two secret drawers, the fall front retains its original lock and key. Below this there is a two over three drawer arrangement the drawers have wonderful original brass swan neck handles. All drawers are oak lined with fine hand dovetailed joints. The bureau bookcase is very impressive and a great size 4ft wide and wonderful proportions. It comes in two parts for transport.
