A fine quality mid Victorian walnut breakfast table dating to around 1860, featuring a beautifully figured burr walnut oval top with elegant marquetry and boxwood line inlay. The richly patterned top is supported on a substantial and decorative carved walnut pedestal base with four swept legs terminating in the original porcelain castors.
The table displays excellent colour and patina throughout, with the warm tones of the walnut beautifully complementing the intricate inlaid decoration. A highly versatile piece, equally suited as a breakfast, centre, occasional or dining table.
