Antique Ladies Writing Desk Edwards & Roberts

This is a good quality late 19th Century (c.1890/1900) antique rosewood ladies writing desk by the well know makers Edwards & Roberts. The desk has two banks of trinkets drawers with a central lift up stationary well, with very good carved detail to the up stands It has been fitted with a new leather insert with gold tooling, below this there are a further 5 drawers each with good quality original brass pulls. The centre drawer with the makers stamp. The desk stands on 4 tapered legs terminating with the original casters.
