Antique 19th Century Carved Oak Box Settle

This is a fine quality 19th Century antique carved oak box settle which is constructed of solid oak with fine hand carved panels to the back and front ,it has a lift up seat that provides great storage ideal for boots and shoes. The settle is in good condition for its great age. The lift up seat has has some shrinkage and signs of wear to the front plinth .and has had a later hasp fitted, none of this is detrimental to the item it just adds character to this wonderful antique.
