19th Century Oak Grandfather Clock J DAVIS LEOMINSTER

On offer for sale is this wonderful early 19th century oak grandfather clock by J Davis Leominster. The clock has a a fine painted arched dial painted with flowers and signed J Davis Leominster. The 8 day striking movement has been recently cleaned and fully serviced keeping good time. The case is solid oak with inlay details and has a working lock and key for the trunk door. The back board has been replaced at some point. The clock comes complete with weights pendulum and winding key. Please note that the centre finial has now had the eagle fitted.
