18th Century Walnut Chest of Drawers

This is a wonderful Queen Anne (c.1700) antique walnut chest of drawers that consist of two small over three large drawers. All the drawers have wonderful English oak linings with hand cut dovetail joints. The drawer fronts have a good walnut grain with herringbone cross banding, this is also repeated on the top. The chest stands on wonderful turned bun feet typical on the Queen Anne period. The chest is made in two parts, this again typical of the period to allow access up narrow twisting stairs cases. Overall a wonderful period chest of drawers with a great antique patina and would grace any home.
