18th Century Grandfather Clock John Gladstone Biggar

This is a fine quality late 18th century carved oak grandfather clock by John Gladstone of Biggar. The clock has a wonderful brass dial with serpent spandrels it has an eight day movement thats strikes upon a bell on the hour with hour count. It has been recently serviced and keeping good time. The trunk has wonderful crisp carved detail and is a great colour. It remains in good condition with no woodworm.
